Biography

An enthusiastic amateur photographer, Rod Moffatt was born and grew up in the remote mining town of Broken Hill, in far western New South Wales, where he developed an enduring fondness for arid landscapes and a deep affinity for the Australian bush.

Throughout his working life Rod has maintained this passion, and has travelled extensively to regional and remote areas of Australia to experience and capture images of its spectacular and unique scenery, flora and fauna.

Through this website Rod seeks to share some of his enthusiasm for the Australian landscape, and hopes this will, in some small way, inspire you and draw your attention to the urgent role we all must play to nurture, protect and preserve our special piece of this Earth.

If we fail in our duty as custodian of our natural environment...it is an inevitable consequence that future generations will inherit an irreparably degraded landscape.

Thank you for visiting this website.
